Roseville Quilters Guild, PO Box 513, Roseville CA 95678
The Guild was founded in 1989 by three women, JoAnn Tryon, Mardelle Turner, and Lora Williams who met in members' homes until the Guild grew too large to accommodate them. Roseville Quilters now has about 160 members and is a nonprofit organization, organized under the Nonprofit Mutual Benefit Corporation Law of California.
We welcome guests at our meetings, and are open to new members. We meet in the Garden Room at the Placer County Fairgrounds at 9am, usually on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. A few months a year we change our meeting to the 2nd Wednesday. (In June our meeting is usually the 2nd Wednesday so we may set up for the quilt show, and in December we meet early because of the holidays.)
If you are interested in visiting our guild, please check our calendar page to be sure of the correct date.
General meetings are in the Garden Room at the Placer County Fairgrounds. From I-80, take Douglas Blvd West. Turn right onto Judah, then right onto Oak. At the light, turn left onto Washington and continue through the underpass. Turn left onto All American Boulevard into the Placer County Fairgrounds. At the front gate, turn left (onto Los Vegas) then immediately right, onto Lawton. Go through Gate C to the parking lot. You need to park and walk through the gates to the Garden Room, which is the first building on the right.
Second Wednesday workshops are held in the Senior Wing at the Maidu Community Center. Head east on Douglas Blvd. Turn right onto Rocky Ridge, then left at the second light into Maidu Park. Turn left when the street dead-ends. The Community Center is ahead on the left. The Senior Wing is on the left as you enter the front doors.
Workshops are normally held at the Diamond K recreation room. Once on Washington Blvd (see above) continue north past the fairgrounds, through two stoplights, and turn left onto Kaseberg Dr. At the second stop sign, turn right onto Richards Dr, then right onto Hancock. Turn right into the driveway just past 30 Hancock. There is limited parking so you may have to unload and then park on the street.
This form is for both new and renewing members. It is a fillable pdf file - fill it out on line, then print it out.
Community Service work days are held at the First United Methodist Church. From the corner of Washington and Main streets, head south toward the underpass. Before reaching the underpass turn right onto Church Street. (The First Methodist Church is on the corner of Washington Blvd and Church Street.) Turn right into the parking lot. The entrance into the meeting room is near the far right corner of the parking lot.
